Carrie's Philosophy

Carrie believes the best outcomes are usually achieved when patients have an active role in their recovery process. She spends a great deal of time educating people on their specific injuries and what they can do to expedite healing and avoid re-injury. Understanding how or why something happens is a big part of the healing process. The modalities Carrie uses include, manual, hands-on physiotherapy techniques and specific exercise prescriptions that the individual can’t do themselves at home. However, the home exercise program is an integral part of the rehabilitation process and when a patient takes ownership and actively participates in their own health, they positively support their in-clinic treatments. This ultimately helps to maintain and improve mobility and restore function. Carrie's goal is to help her patients leave feeling stronger and healthier so they can get back to doing what they love.

Areas of Practice

Carrie treats people of all ages and customizes programs to meet their individual health and fitness goals. She focuses on active rehab while providing patients with the tools and knowledge they need to get back to living a fulfilling life. Some common reasons patients seek treatment from Carrie are back and neck pain, motor vehicle accident injuries, sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries and more. Upon the initial in-depth physical exam, healing methods are decided. This could be anywhere from joint manipulation to custom orthotics or the use of pain-relieving modalities such as acupuncture.

Outside Life

From an early age Carrie has had a passion for fitness and taking care of her physical health. Outside of work you can find her teaching spin classes or working out in her home gym.

Aside from exercise, Carrie values meaningful time with her family and furry friends, Mila and Molly. Any chance she gets to take them for a walk or play inside is considered time well spent.

A little-known secret about Carrie is her love of fashion. Her admiration for the creativity of professionals in this world pushes her to stretch her own creativity through her practice approach, spin programming and her own wardrobe.
