Dr. Aynsley Scott

Dr. Aynsley Scott is a registered clinical psychologist with training and experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

She received her PhD in Clinical/Behavioral Psychology from the University of Manitoba and completed her residency at the Edmonton Consortium. Dr. Scott formerly held a joint position with the University of Manitoba and Shared Health as an assistant professor/psychologist.

Clinical interests including working with adults with binge eating disorder, anxiety, chronic health conditions, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss and life transitions. She has worked extensively with individuals preparing for and adjusting to life after bariatric surgery.

Dr. Scott takes an evidence-based integrative approach to psychotherapy, with the goal of tailoring therapy to each client’s particular needs. She helps clients achieve their goals through a values-aligned framework focusing on individual strengths as well as helping clients work towards creating a meaningful life.
